Understanding VIEW Historical Reports

A VIEW historical report displays information from a single historical data source of raw data fields generated by storm applications.
The way in which you wish to report on this data determines the type of report you will create. There are two types of historical report in VIEW; data export and custom. A data export report is a view of the raw data field content from the data source whilst a custom report is a display of values calculated from the data fields.
