Log an Agent Out of storm

This is a procedural topic for supervisors and administrators describing how to log an agent out of the agent desktop (storm DTA) and any paired device. You may wish to do this on behalf of agents who have not logged themselves out.

You log an agent out using the Agent Group module (shown below) on a real-time dashboard. If the command is issued whilst the agent is handling an interaction, the log out is delayed until the end of the interaction.

Prerequisites

• You have logged in to storm with your user log in credentials and then launched the VIEW application. See Log in to storm and Launch VIEW.
• A real-time dashboard has been set up by an administrator. See Create a Dashboard for Real-Time Statistics.
• You are familiar with the VIEW Dashboard Interface.
• The agent's name is visible in an Agent Group module's Individual User Statistics Panel.

Procedure

In an Agent Group Module, click the  button for the agent you want to log out.

Note: if the button is not visible, consult your storm UC/CONTACT administrator to check that the user right for this feature has been assigned to you and that the agent's group has been correctly assigned to you for supervision.
