To illustrate how licence usage is displayed in this data source, consider the following example. It shows that, across the entire organisation, six licence types were assigned to users by storm UC/CONTACT administrators resulting in six records. At 16:55:00, concurrent licences of most types were in use as a result of agents who were logged in to their devices. A small number contingent licences were also in use at this time.

Comparison With the Licence Usage Data Source

The Licence Usage data source shows licence usage at an individual user level.

For example, consider a user who is permitted to handle calls and emails. When this user logs onto the agent desktop (storm DTA) and a paired device such as a deskphone, two 'Inbound Agent' licences are acquired against the agent, one for the agent desktop and the other for the phone. The Organisation Licence Usage data source displays this as a single 'Inbound Agent' licence whilst the Licence Usage data source displays two acquired instances of the licence.

Data Export Fields in Organisation Licence Usage

Provides a detailed description of each data export field in this data source and shows how the field is populated for the different parts on an interaction. There is a topic for each data export field.

The information will help you to interpret and build data export report. Each topic in this section also indicates whether the data export report supports a filter, a dimension, or both. Knowing that a data export field supports a filter means that you can design metrics to include or exclude values reported the field. Knowing that a data export field supports a dimension means that you can break down metric values in a custom report on the basis of values reported in the field.
