Refund Panel

This is accessed by clicking the  button on the Toolbar

Use this panel to see historical storm LOCK and PADLOCK payment transactions in your organisation, and to issue full and partial refunds for any of those transactions.

You can operate this panel by using your mouse or keyboard (see Accessibility Features).

Transactions List

This displays a summary of all storm LOCK and PADLOCK transactions in your organisation. Selecting a transaction allows you to pay a refund to that customer (where permitted).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Label 1

 

Panel help and  control buttons

Reject Call button

Expands a single-width panel to double width, or a double-width panel to maximum width. Maximum width takes up all of the available workspace to the right.

Reject Call button

Collapses a double-width panel to single width, or a maximum width panel to double-width.

Close Information Panel button

Hides the panel. You can restore it by clicking the  Refund button on the Toolbar.

Close Information Panel button

Closes the panel.

Search Transactions and Filter Field

Use this to search for a particular transaction by entering any part of its reference number and then clicking the  button (or pressing the keyboard Enter key) to filter the list to show items matching the search item. 

In the list of returned items, clearing the search field and then clicking the  button clears the search.

Clicking the  button allows you to search by the content of the 'Additional Content' field instead of by reference. The search item must fully match a field value for it to be returned in the search results. 

Reference

This is the reference that was entered for the original payment in the Card Information Section of the PADLOCK panel.

Additional Content 

This relates to a custom field that the agent used when taking the original payment. For example, a customer reference in your organisation's CRM system.

Label 2

 

List of transactions

A summary of all historical LOCK and PADLOCK transactions in your organisation. Clicking anywhere on a transaction displays the transaction's details (see 'Transaction Details' below).

In a double and full-width panel, the transaction information is displayed in columns.

Label 4

 

Pagination buttons

Indicates the number of payment transactions that are currently in view and the total number of transactions. The number of transaction items displayed per page depends on your screen size and zoom level. Use the arrow buttons to see transactions that are not currently visible in the panel.

Reject Call button

Displays the first page of items.

Reject Call button

Displays the previous page of items.

Reject Call button

Displays the next page of items.

Close Information Panel button

Displays the last page of items.

Transaction Details

This displays the details of the selected transaction and, where permitted, allows you to pay a full or partial refund to the customer who made the original payment. The panel also displays all refunds associated with the payment and the name of the agent who paid each refund.

Clicking 'Transactions' returns you to the Transactions List.

Details/Refunds tabs

The 'Details' tab displays details of the transaction that was selected in the Transactions List and allows you to make a refund to the customer.

Clicking the 'Refunds' tab displays the details of every refund that has been made for the selected transaction (as shown in the illustration above and on the right). In a double and full-width panel, the refund details are displayed in columns.

Transaction Details

The details of the selected transaction.

Label 4

 

Refund Amount

Use this to enter the amount to refund for the selected transaction.

Comment

Use this to enter a comment in relation to the refund.

Label 6

 

Submit Refund button

Click this to submit the refund. The refund will then be listed on the 'Refunds' tab.
