Change Your Deskphone's Star Code and PIN

Applies to users who are configured to use a deskphone for making and receiving calls.

You can change the star code and security code that you use for star coding into your phone.

Procedure

1. In the Toolbar at the left of the DTA main application window, click the  button to display the Settings Window.
2. In the Settings window, select My Telephone Device.
3. Select Hardphone Settings.

4. To change the star code, overwrite your current star code with the new one in the Star Code field. This must be between three and seven digits long and each digit must be numeric (0 to 9). Click Save. 
5. To change the security code, type the new code in the New Security Code and Confirm New Security Code fields. This must be up to 4 digits long and each digit must be numeric (0 to 9). Click Save. 
6. (Ignore this step if you logged in to DTA using single sign-on.) In the Confirm Password field, type your DTA login password, and then click Save.
7. Close the Settings window by clicking its  button, or by clicking anywhere outside the window within the main application window.
