Assign Users to Hunt Groups

Supervisors only

You can assign and unassign users to and from hunt groups that have been assigned to you by your administrator.

Procedure

  1. In the Toolbar at the left of the DTA main application window, click the Toolbar Settings button to display the Settings Window.
  2. In the Settings window, select User Management.
  3. Select Assign to Hunt Group.
  4. Choose one of the following assignment method options:

By User

Change a particular user's membership across lots of hunt groups.

By Hunt Group

Assign and unassign lots of users to a particular hunt group.
  1. Follow the instructions in 'By User' or 'By Hunt Group' depending on your selection in the previous step.

By User

Select the user and then select the check boxes in the Assigned column against the hunt groups that you want to assign the user to. Or, clear the check boxes against the groups from which to unassign the user.

For an assigned hunt group, select its check box in the Optional column if you want to allow the selected user to opt in and out of it.

For a hunt group marked as 'Optional', clear its check box in the Attending column if you want to the selected user to be opted out of the group initially. The user can opt themselves in later as instructed in Opt In and Out of Agent Groups and Hunt Groups. Or, you can opt them in later from here.

By Hunt Group

Select the hunt group.

Select the check boxes in the Assigned column against the users who you want to assign to the hunt group. Clear the check boxes for users who you want to unassign.

For an assigned user, select their check box in the Optional column if you want to allow them to opt in and out of the selected hunt group.

For a user marked as 'Optional', clear their check box in the Attending column if you want them to be opted out of the selected group initially. The user can opt themselves in later as instructed in Opt In and Out of Agent Groups and Hunt Groups. Or, you can opt them in later from here.

  1. Close the Settings window by clicking its  button, or by clicking anywhere outside the window within the main application window.
