Use this section to retrieve a call that has been parked by another storm user. In a parked call, the external party is listening to hold music as they wait for their call to be retrieved. When you retrieve the call, the party is placed in a two-way call with you.
Prerequisite
Ensure that you have been provided with the full telephone or extension number for retrieving the parked call. This will have been provided to you in an SMS text message to your mobile phone (or another method) by the storm user who parked the call.
Procedure
Do one of the following depending on the type of number you have received:

Enter the extension number in the Comms Panel as described in Call by Entering the Destination Number or User Name or, if you are using a storm-registered deskphone, enter the extension number on your deskphone keypad. When the call is answered by the call park service, follow the instruction in the audio prompt to pick up the call. Note: you can also enter the star (*) key twice followed by the extension number to pick up the call without listening to an audio prompt. Note: PSTN-paired users cannot dial a call park extension number on their telephone devices. |

Enter the full telephone number in the Comms Panel as described in Call by Entering the Destination Number or User Name, or enter the full number from any other telephone device. When the call is answered by the call park service, follow the instruction in the audio prompt to pick up the call. |
