Handle a Preview OUTBOUND Call

A preview OUTBOUND call displays information about the OUTBOUND contact without dialling their number. This gives you a short period of time to see information about that contact and to decide whether or not you want to speak to them.

Procedure

  1. On seeing your availability status change to 'Preview' and seeing the contact's name, number, and any additional information, click Accept or Reject on the Dialler Information Panel. If an Extend button is present, click it if you need more time to preview the details. If you don’t accept or reject, the campaign may be configured to automatically accept or reject the call on your behalf.

You are NOT allowed to make and receive calls during the Preview status (the Comms Panel - Phone Tab is disabled).

  1. If you accepted the contact, an outbound call is made and routed to you. Handle the call as normal. Rejecting a contact causes the next contact’s details to be routed to you.
