Routing Tasks

The storm platform routes each contact entering the platform on an access point, to a destination using a route plan.

Description

Configure main routing

Configure primary and disaster recovery routing.

Configure scheduled routing

Assign a routing schedule of one or more time bands to an access point/group.

Configure origination-dependent routing 

Configure an access number to apply alternative routing to calls or SMS messages from a group of specified numbers or number prefixes, and emails from a group of specified email addresses or domains.

Configure routing using an auto-attendant (IVR)

The storm auto attendant service provides a means of playing a recorded menu of options to the caller when they dial an access point number.

Route by percentage weighting

Use this to route incoming voice calls to two or more destinations or services based on a specified percentage weighting.

Configure Voicemail

Used to configure voicemail at the storm access point/route plan level.
