Configure Speed Dial Profiles

Each speed dial profile consists of a list of up to 101 speed dial values and their associated target telephone numbers. Once created, speed dial profiles can be assigned to your organisation, to user groups, and to users. Speed dial profiles assigned at user level override those assigned at user group and organisation level; and those assigned at user group level override that assigned at organisation level. They are available on any device used to make calls via the storm platform.

DTA users who are assigned a speed dial profile can set up and manage personal speed dial settings in addition to those provided by the profile, and can amend settings provided by the profile.

When setting up speed dial profiles, the telephone numbers are defined either as a numeric string, or as a numeric string prefixed by + when followed by an international dialling code.

1. Select Organisations > Speed Dial Profiles.

2. Click the Create New Profile button. (The Select Profile drop-down list allows you to select an existing profile and amend it. Any changes you make take immediate effect.)

3. Provide a name for the speed dial profile, then enter each of the speed dial value/telephone number pairs in turn.
4. Click Save Profile when you have finished input.
