Set up a Personal Conference

You are able to create a personal conferencing facility for a user, which provides them with an extension that they and other users can call to hold a conference. The user who is assigned the personal conference extension is the designated conference owner, and is able to see how many participants there are in the conference, and to end the conference for all participants.

  1. Set up the extension, using the Routing > Extensions > Add Extension menu option.
  2. Select the Routing > Extensions > Extension Mapping menu option.
  3. Use the Extension field to select the extension.
  4. In the Mapping Type field, select ‘Personal Conference’.
  5. In the User field, select the user.
