Create a User Paging Group

A paging group is used to group together UC users for the purposes of allowing them to communicate with each other via a voice broadcast.

  1. Select Routing > Treatments > Add Treatment.
  2. In the Treatment Name field, provide a meaningful name for the paging group.
  3. In the Treatment Type field, select 'Paging Group'.
  4. Select the site at which the pickup is located.
  5. In the CLI Presentation field, select the details to display to paged users.
  6. Use the Default Paging Mode field to select the paging mode:

Note: the Default Paging Mode setting can be overridden for individual members of the paging group as you add them to the group.

  1. Select the Treatment Language to be used for system prompts.
  2. Click Add Treatment.
  3. Assign users to the paging group by selecting Routing > Treatments > User Mapping.
