A paging group is used to group together UC users for the purposes of allowing them to communicate with each other via a voice broadcast.
Listen only: group members will hear paging calls as a one-way broadcast. The caller will not hear the called parties.
Talk only (meeting room: group members will broadcast to the caller and the caller cannot speak to them. This allows a caller to monitor a meeting.
Talk and Listen: the caller and the group members are placed into a multi-party conference call. The caller and the called parties can hear one another.
Note: the Default Paging Mode setting can be overridden for individual members of the paging group as you add them to the group.
For information on the other options in the Treatment Type drop-down list see the section Reference: UC/CONTACT Menu Items.
