Site |
Select the site where the device is located. |
Select this check box if the site where the device is located may vary. For emergency calls made from the device, the CLI will include a suffix to indicate that the physical location of the device cannot be ascertained from the CLI. If you leave this clear, a User field is displayed, which you can use to associate the device with a Meeting Room user, and so set it up as a permanent conference room phone. |

If the device is a DECT handset, use this to select the DECT station (the Username field is hidden). This is the MAC address of the device. |

Note: the Nomadic field corresponds to the Roaming? field. For fixed-paired phones that are permanently paired with a user of ‘Meeting Room’ type, the Pairing User field identifies the user and corresponds to the User field (shown when a non-roaming device is assigned to a site that prevents internet calls).
Note: you can also import devices as a single column of MAC addresses. Use the Vendor and Site lists to set these details for all devices. The Username and Description fields for a device are set to the MAC address.
As an alternative to manually rebooting hardware devices to resolve issues, you can schedule your devices to reset at allocated times. This is useful if you want to reboot devices in bulk or during a quiet period.
The scheduled reboot time is displayed on the View Devices screen:
To remove schedules, select the devices and then click Remove Reboot Schedule.
Note: you can reboot a device immediately by clicking the Reboot Selected button.
