Play Media

Plays an audio prompt to the caller.

Properties

Media List/Prompt

Use the Select Media List option to select the media list containing the audio file and then either use the Select Prompt option to select the file or use the Use Dynamic Prompt option to use a local string variable containing the name of the file.

Alternatively, use the Use Dynamic Media List option to use a local string variable containing the name of the media list and then use a local string variable containing the name of the file in the media list.

Random Prompt

Select this to force the cell to play a random prompt from the specified media list instead of the file specified in Prompt.

Enable Cut Through

Select this and then the keys that callers can press to stop playing the audio before it ends.

[End of Prompt]

When the prompt has played successfully.

[Termination Digit]

If the caller presses a termination key defined by the Enable Cut Through property.

[Sound Detected]

If any sound is detected while the prompt is being played that lasts for more than the specified duration (in seconds).

[Exit Tone]

If the system detects a tone associated with a mobile phone voicemail system, a fax or a data modem. For information on implementing this exit route contact your support representative.

Error

If the media list and/prompt could not be located.
