Gather Card Number

Obtains the customer's long credit or debit card number for transmission to storm LOCK.

The action cell complies with Level 1 PCI-DSS regulations regarding the handling of sensitive payment detail information. The card number is never logged or exposed to any users and is stored in the CDR using asterisks for all except the last four digits of the card number.

Enable Cut Through

Select this to allow the customer to press a key to stop playing the audio prompt requesting card number entry to the end.

Choose the Enter Card Number prompt

Select a prompt or use a variable to use a local string variable (dynamic prompt) containing the name of the file.

Using a dynamic prompt is useful if the caller has entered a different language option earlier in the script, for example.

Note: as prompt files reside on servers within a secure payment card handling environment on storm with no outside access, they are uploaded and configured by support engineers.

Inter Digit Timeout

Select the number of seconds to allow between the caller's digit entries.

Retry Digit

Select the digit that the customer can press to clear their input if they want to re-enter it.

Termination Digits

Select the digit(s) that the customer can press to indicate that they have completed entering their number.

Masked Card Number

Enter a string variable to store the masked card number.

Exit points

Exit point	Taken
[Success]	If the card number was validated by LOCK and has a valid format.
Invalid Card Number	If the card number was validated by LOCK but has an invalid format.
Error	If a system error occurred.
