Purge Recordings
You can configure the system to permanently delete all voice and text-based recordings automatically after a defined period. This applies to all recordings on access numbers as well as all calls and interactions recorded per user as configured in storm UC and CONTACT. All recordings are accessible to recording managers in storm RECORDER.
You can configure the purge to occur at the organisation level. If you provide call centre services for multiple clients, you can also configure shorter retention periods for recordings against the following object types:
- Outgoing communication on selected presentation CLIs
- Incoming communication on selected access numbers
- Export values (for recordings that were exported to an external system and tagged with export values).
Purging Recordings at the Organisation Level
- From the STUDIO main screen, select Service Configuration > Templates and Profiles > Recording Retention.
- Select the Purge Recordings check box and then enter the recording storage duration (maximum 3650 days):
- Click Save default purging settings.
