Toolbar

Allows you to switch the display between Edit mode and View mode. See Toolbar for details.

Element Workflow panel

Displays the elements (access points, services, queues, and hunt groups) in your contact centre and the traffic route design from left to right across the screen. (Hunt groups are displayed in the Queues section of the panel.)

In Edit mode, you can move an access point element's position within the Access Point section of the workspace by clicking and dragging it.

Access point elements are always displayed in the following order from top to bottom:

  • Elements connected to services
  • Elements connected directly to users
  • Unconnected elements

Zoom controls

Click the  and  buttons to zoom out of and zoom into the Element Workflow panel.

Configuration panel toggle

Click  to open the Configuration panel, or  to close it.

Configuration panel

Provides fields and controls for configuring storm elements in your contact centre. The changes are updated in the Element Workflow panel. See the Configuration Panel section below for details.

Deselect button

Deselects all selected elements.

Move button

Moves the connection between connected elements.

Delete button

Deletes the connection between the selected access point and selected service.

Revert button

Reverts the current uncommitted connect, delete, or move operation to its previous state.

Commit button

Activates a connect, delete, or move operation with a corresponding impact on live service.

Configuration Panel

The Configuration panel comprises sub-panels and commands and this is where you will perform most of your contact centre configuration.

Add User

Allows you to add a new user. See Create Users.

Edit User

Allows you to edit an existing user. See Edit a User.

Add Queue

Allows you to add a new queue. See Create Queues.

Edit Queue

Allows you to edit an existing queue. See Edit a Queue.

Applications

Allows access to the following storm applications:

SERVICE DESIGNER

Launches the SERVICE DESIGNER tool (storm FLOW) inside the CONDUCTOR application. Use SERVICE DESIGNER to create new services and to edit existing ones. See Create Services.

RECORDER

Launches storm RECORDER in a separate browser window or tab. Use RECORDER to access recordings of interactions on storm. See Listen to Recordings.

Add Hunt Group

Allows you to add a new hunt group. The hunt group is displayed in the Queues section of the Element Workflow panel. See Create Hunt Groups.

Edit Hunt Group

Allows you to edit an existing hunt group name. See Edit a Hunt Group.

Settings

Allows you to configure and manage other items in your contact centre, such as media and completion codes. See Settings below.

Help

Launches the CONDUCTOR online Help on a separate browser tab.

Log Out

Logs you out of storm CONDUCTOR.

Upload Media

Allows you to upload media from external locations for use in services and queues. See Upload Media.

Completion Codes

Allows you to create and edit user completion codes for assigning to queues. See Create User Completion Codes.

View Licences

Displays your user licences. See Check User Licences

Media

Allows you to manage media that was created in or uploaded to CONDUCTOR. See Manage Media.

Using the Configuration Panel

Configuration panel field values that are not valid are highlighted in red. You cannot commit changes until all field values in the sub-panel are valid. For example, in the Add User sub-panel shown below, valid username, password and email values must be provided before the user can be created.
