Example of How to Configure a Menu with a Numeric Action (Data) Type

  1. Create the actions.
  2. Create a menu.
  3. Configure the menu with the actions you created in step 1.

  1. On selection of a menu keypress, the caller is routed according to the value.

Example of Configuring a Menu with the Menu or Queue Action (Data) Type

  1. Create a menu and configure it with the Menu action type ('Existing Claims' menu in this case), in effect creating a sub-menu.

Example 2 how to use actions

  1. Create a menu and configure it with the Queue action type ('Route to valid queue claim' in this case), to route callers to a particular queue.

Example 3 how to use actions

In the same way you could, for example, configure a time schedule with an action type 'Announcement', to play an announcement at a specific time of day.
