A delivery point is a call destination (such as the number of a contact centre) for use in FLOW action cells. Any delivery points that you create can be used by administrators who have a FLOW licence. Delivery points can also be grouped together into delivery point groups.
Note: selecting the Disabled check box prevents calls from being routed to this delivery point. Wherever the delivery point is referenced in FLOW, it is skipped.
Routing method |
Description |
Sequential |
The system attempts to place the call to each delivery point in the listed order. |
Weighted |
The system attempts to place the call to just one of the delivery points based on a percentage split defined within the delivery point group. This allows delivery point groups and delivery points to be used sequentially in the Outbound Call action cell; the service attempts to place the call to a weighted delivery point group first, but will then attempt a delivery point if the service fails to connect to the number provided by the delivery point group. |
Note: selecting the Disabled check box prevents calls from being routed to this delivery point group. Wherever the delivery point is referenced in FLOW, it is skipped.
