Host a Zoom Meeting
To host a Zoom meeting, you must have a Zoom account. If you do not already have a Zoom account, you can create one here: https://zoom.us/signup. You will also need to authenticate storm to use your Zoom account the first time you use it within DTA.
Note: the actions shown in this section can only be carried out by the meeting host. It is assumed that the host is already familiar with the meeting controls that are available within Zoom.
The table below shows the controls that are available to you within DTA. Once you have started a meeting, you will be able to access the Zoom controls.

Click to leave a meeting. Note: as the meeting host, everyone on the call will be disconnected and the meeting will finish. |

Note: when a Zoom meeting is in progress, only the Leave Meeting button from the controls shown above is available.
Note: you can click the Zoom button to the right of the screen to close the Zoom panel. Click the button again to display the panel.
To invite people to participate in the Zoom meeting, you can send invitations by email, copy the meeting URL, or copy the invitation.
Additional settings appear as you hover the mouse over a guest's name in the Participant's panel.

Click the Mute button to mute any participant. Click Ask to Unmute, to request the participant enable their microphone. |
Chat |
Click Chat to send a direct message only to the selected meeting participant. |
Stop Video |
Click Stop Video to stop a meeting participant's video. |
Ask for Start Video |
Click Ask for Start Video, to request a meeting participant enable their camera. |
Spotlight Video |
Spotlight video puts up to 9 participants as the primary active speakers for all participants, and participants will only see these speakers. This feature is often used to spotlight a keynote speaker. |
Make Host |
Click Make Host to pass host control to the selected participant. |
Rename |
Click Rename to change a participant's displayed name. |
Put on Hold |
Click Put on Hold to place the participant into the waiting room. |
Remove |
Click Remove to immediately remove a participant from the meeting. The participant will be prevented from re-joining this meeting, but will be able to join new meetings. |

The meeting host can transfer host privileges to another participant. This can be done at any time during the meeting, and can be used, for example, when the host has to leave the meeting but the meeting must continue.
Host privileges are transferred to the new host. The new host's toolbar at the bottom of their screen will then show the Security button.
